Since I started the blog a few people have got in touch with me who are looking for passionate, committed, young dentists to work as associates in their practices. They seem to think (and I agree with them) that the incidental blog would be a great place to meet such dentists. Basically what I’ve decided to do is put up th
e adverts people send me on this page in the blog.
I’m not starting up a job shop or anything but if other incidentists want to advertise jobs (or themselves) here, feel free to get in touch.
I’ll be putting up jobs which i feel are really good opportunties that people should look at. Obviously I won’t have been to any of the practices though so I hope you won’t hold me responsible if things don’t pan out.
If you want my advice then I’d say that getting the right employee or the right employer is so important. If you share the vision of where your going to work you will find your working life far more productive and rewarding. I suggest you should spend some time shadowing at the practice your interested in and getting to know the feel of the place before you think about taking a job. This will hopefully reduce the risk of any future suprises that might be unpleasant!
Above all, value your own services and don’t take any job/associate, take the right one. It will be well worth the search in the long run.
